DESCRIPTION:Notice is hereby given that the Municipal Officers of the Town of Machias will hold a Public Hearing on August 24\, 2022 at 6:00 P.M. at the Tele-business Center to discuss constructing and equipping an addition with up to three classrooms to the Machias Memorial High School Alternative Education Building with a total project cost not to exceed $250\,000\, which project costs are expected to be 100% funded by Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) federal grant funds.  Further information is available upon request at the Machias Town Office.  Citizens are encouraged to attend or provide written comments.
