DESCRIPTION:The Town of Machias Will Be Hosting a Town Wide Cleanup on May 14th and May 15th\, 2016. We Are Asking Our Business Owners and Citizens to Show Their Pride. Help Us to Make Machias One of the Cleanest Communities Downeast. \nWhether It Is Painting\, Washing Windows\, Planting Flowers\, Picking up Roadside Garbage or Disposing of Old Junk\, It All Makes a Difference! \nThe Town Is Looking for Volunteers to Help with This Project by Either Cleaning an Area of the Town or to Help the Elderly or Handicapped People Who Are Physically Unable to Participate. \nPlease Contact Christina Therrien at 255-6621 If You Would like to Volunteer or to Sign up for Cleanup Assistance. \nAs Part of This Community Pride Activity\, the Town Will Not Be Charging Disposal Fees for Any Machias Resident for These Two Days.
