DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again. Time to invite one and all to the Machias Valley Airport for our Annual Open House Fly-in. Fly\, drive\, walk\, or bike everyone is welcome. Come see our newly constructed terminal building and completely reconstructed runway. The new\, smooth\, access road should be paved in time for a much  more enjoyable ride by any means. We will have display aircraft again this year which will include the fan favorites – Maine Forest Service Helicopter and the Maine Army Guard Blackhawk Helicopter. We will have other aircraft on site from local pilots and also the Civil Air Patrol who will be conducting missions based out of KMVM. We are also hoping to have great participation from local agencies and businesses for a “Touch-A-Truck” event for the kids. I ask all who are willing to participate to contact us for more information.
