The Town of Machias will receive sealed bids at the Machias Town Office, P.O. Box 418, 17 Stackpole Dr, Machias, ME 04654 until Friday August 29, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

A parking ban will be in effect from November 15, 2025 and will remain in effect until April 15, 2026. This parking ban includes all town maintained roads, Water Street Parking Lot, Axiom and French Cellar Parking Lots, and the parking lot behind Machias River General Store.
The Parking Ban will only be in the above designated areas between the hours of 10 pm and 6 am.
